National Consultations                                                                         

TrilogyIS can provide the complete range of services required in undertaking national consultations including:

  • Initial concept development including research and options appraisal;

  • Stakeholder engagement, including Colleges and Peak liaison and targeted advertising;

  • Concept testing through the conduct of workshops, forums and surveys;

  • Web deployed instruments such as reports, models and surveys;

  • Data analysis; and

  • Analysis and report writing.

Our most recent national consultations are associated with documenting prescribing and dispensing work practices in all healthcare settings within Australia, along with opportunities for e-signature supporting e-prescribing and e-dispensing. This assignment included:

  • Concept development including the development of “straw models”;

  • Web deployed surveys;

  • Venue hire and advertising;

  • Stakeholder engagement (Colleges & Peaks including Pharmacy Boards, Health Departments and Schools of Pharmacy); and

  • More than 40 workshops in all capital cities plus rural and remote locations.

Other national consultations have included:

  • The feasibility of a whole-of-life immunisation register (2006);

  • The engagement of Colleges & Peaks in the work of the National Clinical Information Project (CIP) now part of the National E-Health Transition Authority in 2004.

  • A business plan for a National Cardiac Procedures Register (NCPR) in 2003; and

  • Consultations for the Electronic Decision Support Taskforce in 2002.
